October

October felt like a long month... it started with my fall break (mine was a week after the kids' so Michael and I were home each day while they went to school).  We had lunch by ourselves a couple of days. And it ended with a tropical storm knocking out power all around and causing school to be closed for two days... It's been a crazy week!

At some friend's house watching a Georgia game by the fire pit.

Neighborhood fall party, complete with bounce houses, face painting, cotton candy, food, climbing wall, train rides, etc...

We went to get our pumpkins and got some cute pictures.

And we spent an evening in downtown Woodstock looking at all of the scarecrows and had dinner.

And of course, last night was Halloween.  Most of the people in our neighborhood still participated in trick-or-treating.  It wasn't quite as crowded as years past, but still fun.  Rachel went as a cereal killer and Jackson rode an inflatable dinosaur.

Rachel is now taller than Sherry.

Jackson and Dax...and the dinosaur convention.

Rachel and a few of her friends.

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween!  Now let's put out the Thanksgiving decorations for a few weeks.
