More Pics From My Phone

Here are a few more pictures that I've taken that haven't made it to an actual blog post yet...

We have a new member in our family.  Mathieu was born to Constance and Jeffrey towards the beginning of October.  He is so cute!!!  He was a big baby too... This is Michael and I visiting them in the hospital.

Just the other day, the kids got to meet him.

Having lunch together - Jackson didn't want to be in the picture.

Pretty in red...

Jackson and his first trophy - for soccer.  I didn't get a picture of Rachel with hers.  They both had a good first season.  Rachel really enjoyed it (even scored a goal during one game) and Jackson got to where he was staying out most of the game (or not with us anyways)... He was the youngest on his team but he enjoyed it!

Rachel and Jackson playing in the hamster ball at the fall festival.  That was their favorite part!

Another of Rachel's class projects.  She had to create her own state and state items (state bird, state flower, state flag, motto, etc.)  She loves art so her state was named Artasia.

Sitting in front of the fire the other night...Rachel was doing my hair.  Pretty relaxing!

Today was Jackson's class Thanksgiving lunch and program.  He was an indian.

Pumpkins and Costumes

Here are a few pictures from the pumpkin patch at the nearby church.

On Halloween, Rachel dressed as a gym teacher for school (complete with whistle and clip board)...it wasn't for Halloween, but it was dress as a community helper day for Red Ribbon Week.  Jackson was able to dress in a Halloween costume because his school has a costume parade in the morning.  He couldn't decide between being Spiderman and Bob the Builder this year, so we went with Bob in the morning and Spiderman for trick-or-treating.  Here they are before school.

I always enjoy seeing the little ones dressed up...here are a few I got of Jackson and some of his friends when I dropped him at school.

And here they are ready to go trick-or-treating last night.  Rachel was a witch and I'm not a make-up artist (I soon realized)...Jackson was Spiderman.

We always go see Sherry first!

It's November now!  I know the kids enjoy Halloween, but I'm glad it's over.  Ready for November and December.

Small update on Jackson...he got strep again for the 4th time a few weeks ago.  We saw the ENT a few days later and she changed his then medicine and put him on two more for ten more days.  That ended yesterday - so now we wait and see how it goes.  We go back for a follow-up in a couple of weeks - if by chance he gets it again before we go back, we are to automatically contact the surgery scheduler to have his tonsils out.  I'm praying it doesn't come to that.
