Christmas

We went to Charlotte last weekend to see family there.  Unfortunately, I hardly took any pictures this time... Here are a couple I got the first evening.

Can you guess who was tired of taking pictures?  Still makes me laugh though.

The whole family made it over on Sunday...

A little of what Harold, our elf, was up to this season...He was a little more creative this year!

Christmas Eve pajamas...they liked them, but it's so warm here this week that they wouldn't keep them on or sleep in them...

Christmas morning, Jackson was in our room at 6:30 and we found out that Rachel was awake at 6:10... We went down a little after 7:00 and I tried to get a picture of them coming into the room to see what Santa had left for them, but they ran in and this was the best I got.  They've never run in before.  But at least they were excited about it all.

He got the Bat Cave he asked for and she finally got a guitar.

Here's one picture of the cousins together that afternoon.  I didn't take any pictures that afternoon either...

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Fun at Six Flags

We took the kids to Six Flags one night this past week.  They had the Holidays in the Park going on so we saw lots of pretty Christmas lights.  It's been raining almost every day this week but we got lucky and went on a rather dry evening.  It wasn't crowded and they were able to walk right up to every thing they wanted to ride.  The weather held steady for us and it wasn't too hot or too cold - so it worked out nicely!

Michael is in the front row of this ride going straight down...

The Coca-Cola polar bear...

Tunnel of lights...

We even saw Santa again.

I love this one!

Overall, it was a fun evening!

'Tis the Season!

It's Christmas time!  I can't believe we're a week away from Christmas already.  This month always goes by so fast.

We had to visit a different Santa this year - and boy is that a hard thing to do when you've gone to an "easy" Santa for the last 5-6 years.  But we found one and it turned out fine.

Christmas pictures in the Marietta Square.

Michael and Rachel went to the Father-Daughter Dance at school last weekend.  Rachel was so excited for this and they really did dance a lot that night!  Her favorite part was being dipped by Michael.

Being silly...

The cheerleader in her is never far away...

Here she is at the dance with a few of her friends.

And today was Jackson's class Grinch party... one of the mom's sent me this picture of Jackson and his buddies.  So cute!

Also, this isn't Christmas related, but Jackson finally got a big kid bed this month.  He was excited at the idea of getting a big bed, but when it came down to sleeping in it, he was less than thrilled for the first few nights.  His first night wasn't the best and the second night, he fell out of bed while asleep and that definitely didn't help matters.  We have a towel rolled up under the sheet toward the side of it for now and that seems to have helped.  He hasn't had any more issues and is doing much better with it!
