Time for Pumpkins

It's that time again - time to go see pumpkins and take pictures and everything.  We debated about going to the big pumpkin patch that we used to go to or just go to the church close by like we did last year (which was SO much easier).  But with Jackson being the age he is and how he loves pumpkins and tractors and animals, we thought we'd do what the kids would enjoy most.  The big pumpkin patch.

We were there before they opened this morning - which turned out great.  We got in (and out) before it got crowded, we were able to see what we wanted without waiting in all of the lines and that sort of thing.  That was the good part.

The bad part was...well, the rest.  I dress the kids so that all of the pictures will look cute- because you know this is a big picture taking opportunity.  Do you realize how hard it is to get Jackson to actually look at the camera, much less smile???  These pictures will give you an idea of how hard that is.  And then there is Rachel - when she doesn't want to do something, no one is going to enjoy the time... The pictures don't show all of that, but trust me, it was there.  Being around all of these new kids in kindergarten has really had an impact on her actions and how she talks... We're working on all of that!!

But here are the pumpkins - and the kids!  And I will warn you there are a lot!

This is the perfect picture for the two of them - Rachel posing with her cheesy smile and Jackson turned around trying to get into something... So cute!

This one of the four of us actually turned out really good - even though Jackson isn't smiling, at least he's looking!

I really wanted a good one of the two of them together...

 About the closest I came...

Look, a bird!

Finally on the hayride back.
