Rachel's school had an Art Show this past Tuesday night. Every student in the school had a piece of their artwork framed that you could buy for $25... (It was a fundraiser for the art department and they do it each year...) So this is a picture of Rachel in front of her piece - "Water Lillies"... see the resemblence?
Michael has been out of town since Wednesday and finally got back today -
Mother's Day. And this is going to be an annual trip... *sigh*
Anyways, I digress.
Friday afternoon, Rachel's class had a Mother's Day Tea for all of the moms. It was very nice. Of course Rachel was super excited!
She loves her teacher this year - we couldn't have asked for a better Kindergarten teacher for her!
Luckily for me, and the kids, Grandpa came down and stayed with us Saturday and half the day today. They really enjoyed having him here to play with and I was able to get a few things done myself. This afternoon Rachel had the idea of making paper airplanes (she got Grandpa to make them for us) and the four of us went out and threw them around for a little bit until daddy got home.
